MBC - can it make it back to its old glory? Empty MBC - can it make it back to its old glory?

With the spoiling of All is Dust (7 colorless mana sorcery to destroy all colored permanants) from ROE, it seems like the colorless board clearing element that MBC decks were missing has sprung up.

Chris and I were brewing ideas for it on the way back from Maine last night so here's a rough (VERY) skeleton of some ideas..

    4 all is dust
    4 everflowing chalice

    4 gatekeeper of malakair
    4 fleshbag marauder
    3 abyssal persecutor

    3 tendrils of corruption
    2 consume spirit

    4 mire's toll
    3 mind sludge

    4 sign in blood
    1 diabolic tutor

    24 swamps

the persecutors could easily be malakair bloodwitches and perhaps should be but come down a turn earlier and all your removal can negate its downside.

other cards to possibly fit in main or in the s/b:
    doom blades
    mind rots
    duress
    marsh casualties
    disfigure
    infest
    smother
    vamp hexmages
    quicksands

    suggestions?
    ideas?

    updated list

    4 all is dust
    4 everflowing chalice

    4 gatekeeper of malakair
    4 fleshbag marauder
    3 abyssal persecutor

    4 tendrils of corruption
    3 Doom Blade
    2 consume spirit
    2 marsh casualties

    2 mind sludge

    4 sign in blood

    1 diabolic tutor
    1 grim discovery

    18 swamps

    Needs more Jace.

In more substantive comments, this seems to lose terribly to Jund.

in my not so scientific head to head testing it hasn't been too bad.. in the 12 matches ive played vs jund, its won 5 pre board. its certainly not favorable yet but its better than i had expected it to be.

jund still has a zillion more 2 for 1's so your spells almost all have to do two things (like having tendrils kills a creature and gains you life and all of your creatures have to kill a creature or just be be obscenely undercosted)

tendrils and doom blades deal with man lands/bbelf
you have 8 creatures that kill their creatures when the come into play.

grim discovery with fetches and all the 187 creatures has been great anti-blightning tech.

marsh casualties/all is dust generally take care of being board sweepers esp vs leftover tokens.

i had more discard (duress/mire toll) in the deck but it was generally just a 1/1 where sludging or tutoring for sludge is just better.

doom blades could be smothers to deal with thrinax/leech better, but then it can't handle BBElf

perhaps more grim discoveries main deck?

doom blade should not be played solely for the thrinax, leech reason. not to mention there is that whole vampire deck that is still running around

i also feel that this whole deck should not be played because it flat out can not deal with Jund. If you have no game against Jund then dont bother
