    Does this really matter?

Who cares if they have alternate art for Path to Exile? For the EDH decks?

I hereby in advance disclaim all rights to use promo cards and alternate art cards in my tournament decks. The same applies to foreign cards and foils.

The only reason to have these silly promo/foil/foreign/limited edition cards is because mouth breathers at FNMs crave them and you can trade away textless cancel for their Maelstrom Pulses.

    no song requests please.

im with noah. dont care what the card looks like as long as its playable, non-foil and blackboardered (my sharpie skills are getting better). Dont waste money on these. just play the ones you already have

I prefer alternate art cards, theres nothing wrong with them. Unless the arguement is that my oppenent can gain useful information by noticing the different versions of the same card, in which case that information is miniscule at best. The opponent will likely know the list your playing anyway.

I happen to like shinies, although I don't care overly much normally. I've been on a shiny binge recently because there are two shinies that I have that I (in general) refuse to play normal versions of: Day of Judgment and Path to Exile. I just like the art on the promo versions a ton better, enough to justify going shiny hunting. Anyway, I will still not play that path and continue to play the ones by Rebecca.
